When we decided to build our new home, we knew we needed a creative and skilled architect who could help us capture the potential of our lot on Possum Kingdom Lake.  We knew its unique shape and topology required a creative architect and builder. 

We interviewed several designers and builders, and Mark Anderson of ADC Inc. in Lubbock, Texas easily was the most creative and enthusiastic, and ultimately designed and built the home we had envisioned.  We particularly liked that ADC had years of experience in both design and custom home construction, and we believed in the benefit of using adaptive design techniques during the construction process that incorporated our evolving ideas into the final product.

ADC designed and built a home that is both beautiful and functional and from the comments of all who visit, our new home is a remarkable place that beautifully harmonizes with our unique lake setting and projects an active and lively resort lifestyle.  In spite of design features that suggest tremendous energy consumption, such as high ceilings and extensive glass, Mark and the team at ADC were able to meet our objective of an energy-efficient home.  We are truly amazed at the low cost of comfort in our new home!

We were impressed and pleased with Mark’s knowledge and capabilities as an architect and architect/builder.  A house like ours is a complex system that balances beauty, site location, functionality, and energy efficiency, which if done correctly is not a straightforward build-to-the-plan process.  However, throughout the construction phase Mark expertly solved on-site challenges that could not have been foreseen during design.  The results speak for themselves.

Our water views from literally every room in the house amaze our guests and still surprise us and with Mark’s help we feel we’ve created a special lake home that we can proudly share and enjoy with our family and friends for years to come.
